Instructions for the Practice...

  • Download the Practice Document above. Read the instructions there.
  • In the process of ‘Mapping Your Life’, take a look at your life today – the territory or terrain. Honestly report on it’s condition. The whole picture. What’s working and what’s not working. This is the detailed survey of the territory of your life. Start with what’s so. Fearless, unfiltered look. Telling the unvarnished truth.
  • Create a Course Journal to write all your notes and thoughts on each of the 7 Life Areas.
  • Here are the specific inquiries (or filters) we want you to consider for answering each area: — Satisfied vs. Unsatisfied — Working vs. Not Working
  • Give an overall ranking of 1-10 for each Life Area. 1 being low and 10 high.
  • Then answer: what is the #1 biggest thing that you’re ignoring or resisting in each Life Area?
  • Come up with your top 4-5 passions after you’ve explored each area. Your Passion Test session will help with this too.

Reflection Questions (write your answers in your Journal):

  • Now that you’ve surveyed the territory of your life, what do you truthfully notice NOW about the condition of your life?
  • What are the costs or impacts on you of not changing anything?
  • What is your level of commitment to changing the aspects that aren’t working?
  • What might be calling you (forward) right now?
