Instructions for the Practice...
- Download the Practice Document above. Read the instructions there.
- Part 1: Continue your daily Mindfulness Practice of at least 10 minutes per day. This opens you to deeper listening inside. In your meditation/quiet time see what is revealed when you ask these questions of yourself:
- What is my essence? Who am I really?
- What are my deepest gifts and talents?
- What brings me most alive in my life?
- Part 2: Your ESSENCE Practice.Send an email to at least 5, ideally 10, people that know you well (and from different areas of your life), and ask them this question in your email:
“I’m taking this great purpose course and I’d like your help/support. What qualities or characteristics do you see in me that I express naturally and without effort, and which positively impacts others? Describe them in single words or short phrases.” (See the Doc)
Reflection Questions (write your answers in your Journal):
- What is your Essence and what are your Gifts? What are the qualities, characteristics that you express and exude naturally and effortlessly? And what are the activities you’re doing that bring you most alive?
- What would your life be like if you fully lived from your essence and your gifts…?
